Hope for Northeast Hoolock Gibbons

Aaranyak, a leading biodiversity conservation organization, is collaborating on a pioneering project to assess the population, genetics, and threats to western hoolock gibbons in Northeast India. Through field surveys and DNA studies, the Wildlife Genetics Laboratory of Aaranyak aims to provide critical data to guide conservation strategies and protect this endangered primate from extinction.
