From whom WGL accepts DNA analysis requests?

Forensic Analysis

For forensic DNA analysis involving wildlife crime cases, WGL accepts analysis requests or expert opinion requests only from the Government law enforcement requests from any part within India. The authorised contact person for availing forensic analysis services of WGL is given below:

WGL do not accept any forensic DNA analysis request directly from any other person/ agency.  No other laboratory personnel should directly be contacted for any query on forensic services or on the status of analysis.

​Conservation Genetics Research

​​

For various conservation genetics research projects, WGL is open to partnering with other agencies/ academic institutes. However, for any biological sample collection involving wildlife species, permission from the concerned Government authority is mandatory, in order to undertake any research work in the laboratory.
